About Ria

Ria is a movement enthusiast -- a yoga educator and a flow artist. She has completed a Diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media from Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, a minor in Performing Arts at Ashoka University, and her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification in Hatha & Vinyasa Krama from Atha Yoga School. She is also a self-taught poi spinner.

Ria’s interest in yoga, however, goes deeper than the physical aspects of asana. Yoga, for Ria, is a way to unite breath & movement; to anchor yourself in the present moment, making it a path towards mindfulness, self-examination and personal development. Each person’s yoga journey is constantly evolving, and Ria is happy to help all willing students -- beginner and advanced -- to approach their practice and themselves with a fresh perspective every time they step on the mat.
