This puts a lot of emphasis on micro-movements & verbal adjustment cues as we practice together. This is why if the classes have no participants, the class would not take place as the recordings are real time recordings of the classes. In case of no students, the sessions stand cancelled & the recordings of the same would not be available.

1. Who is this program for? What will it do for me?

These classes are specially designed for those seeking deeper ways to approach yoga practice. The idea is to make yoga asana accessible through use of props & proper understanding of how a pose feels rather than how it looks. So whether you're someone who has struggled with a past injury, have a chronic physical or mental ailment/s - these classes are designed to accommodate everyone.  We will focus on moving mindfully and build a practice which is both calming and energising. 

2. I'm a beginner, can I attend the classes?

Each week has two beginner & two intermediate session - however, don't let this labels scare you. All classes are accessible but some may require the use of props.
If this is the first time you are ever practicing yoga then do give the Monday & Friday morning classes a try!
If you've dabbled in some yoga before, then all classes are your safe spaces to play!

3. How is this batch different from other online yoga classes?

This month's practice is dedicated activating the parasympathetic nervous system through breath and bio-mechanically efficient movement. The yoga asana practice is focussed on micro-movements and extreme attention to movement & alignment detail. Using inspiration from mindfulness therapy such as Acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT) & behavioural training, the course is designed to keep us present. Whether it is paying attention to the micro-movement details during practice on the mat or applying our intention of the practice to our life beyond the mat - these yoga sessions together is an opportunity for us to explore mind-body connection & integration.
