These sessions provide a healthy mix of accessible yet challenging practices. The intent is to be able to understand each pose in-depth and to build towards a more sustained yoga practice. These sessions are for all levels and is a great option for those newer to yoga and those looking to refine their practice. Creative vinyasa, tied together through fun transitions & rhythm - in each class we will find ourselves moving to a collective rhythm and connecting in more ways than one! We will build foundational yoga skills and the ability to listen to ourselves kindly. Each week we will explore a different theme through asana, movement and breath work. Influenced by movement arts & in-depth study of anatomy, these sessions will explore variations in breath pattern, points of awareness and speed.
Through asana & breath we work towards refining the neuro-motor pathways ; through listening & responding with awareness we explore our ability to be present & through understanding the significance of philosophy & bio-mechanics we carry the practice with us even off the mat to our day to day life.
Inner inquiry x Breath practice
Breath is the core of our practice and existence - without breath, there would be no life force or prana.
In these short 30 minute session, we will learn quick tools to down-regulated the nervous system and empower ourselves to practice on our own.
Some sessions may be just pranayama, while some sessions may be a combination of pranayama and guided meditation. One can do this practice sitting upright from any where, as long as you have access to good internet and head phones. You won't need a yoga mat or any props.
